Romans 12:21
Ultimately, we want to curse someone that has wronged us because we want for them to feel the same pain that we’re feeling. Remember that God is the judge and will take care of them and will deal with them; it’s not our job. Psychology Today also says that cursing someone keeps wounds open instead of allowing them to heal.
So next time someone wrongs you, remember that we’ve wronged others and have done even worse to God yet God still provides, forgives, heals, and blesses.
Jesus said on the cross, “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.” Jesus asked for forgiveness for us, so ask forgiveness for yourself, and for those that you come in contact with.
