I just finished watching a TikTok talking about “The happiest man alive.” I think he was a monk as he talks about if you want to find happiness, you have to let go of selfishness. Selfishness makes you miserable and makes those around you miserable. As soon as I’m done watching this clip, my dog comes up to me wagging his tail. Then I saw love and selflessness in action. My dogs are always happy because they are always about loving me and my family. Dogs are the happiest because they are the most selfless creatures alive.
I’ve also been wondering for quite some time did Jesus really have to die for us if everyone no matter what their religion goes to heaven? Then I immediately think about what I realized to know and what I know about Jesus. He came to be an example for us and to show selflessness as no greater love than this that a man lays down his life for his friends. God gave the ultimate sacrifice and the ultimate selfless act. He gave his Son.
